FAQ:
What should I bring to my tax appointment?
Your CPA will need all documents that verify income and deductions for the year 2022. These include: wage income on a W-2, interest income from a bank, Form 1099 retirement income and social security or pension information. For new clients, we also like you to bring your previous year’s tax return so we can check for any carryover information.
If you are itemizing, please bring that information as well. This includes a summary of medical expenses if they are significant, mortgage interest statement, property tax, charitable donations and state tax payments.
Anything else would be on a case by case basis. Your CPA will let you know what additional information is needed during your appointment.
