Certified Public Accountants
David Ahlstrom
Dave receive his masters of accountancy and bachelor’s degrees from Weber State. He has worked for Davis and Bott since 1986.
Dave specializes in individual and business income taxes, retirement plans, type of entity consulting, trusts, accounting and auditing. Dave is currently a soccer coach for AYSO and a chapter leader for the John Birch Society. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors.

Matthew Jensen
Matt has a Masters of Business Administration from USU. He has been with us since 2007. He has served on the board of the Kiwanis club, The Family Support Center, and the local United Way. Matt is a lifelong resident of Brigham City and enjoys serving the people as a member of the City Council. He is a sports fanatic and enjoys reading.
Tyson Hemphill
Tyson received his Masters of Accountancy from Idaho State University and BS degree in accounting from BYU-Idaho. Tyson joined the Davis & Bott team in 2019. Previously he worked in public accounting performing financial statement audits and tax returns for clients in the automotive, retail sales, and manufacturing industries. Outside of work, Tyson enjoys being involved with his church and community. He loves to play sports, watch a good movie with his wife, travel, and spend time with family.
Kyler Andersen
Kyler grew up in Honeyville, Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Utah State University and a Master of Taxation degree from Weber State University as a Goddard Scholar. Kyler is a licensed CPA in the State of Utah and has been with Davis & Bott since 2019. Kyler lives in Perry with his wife, Abby. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing sports and games, and cheering for the Jazz.
Cody Pali
Cody is a licensed CPA in the State of Utah. He received his Master’s degree in Taxation from Weber State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Utah State University. Cody grew up on a farm in Honeyville. If he is not in the office, you may find him riding in a green tractor. Cody loves spending time with his wife and 3 girls. He enjoys camping, Ranger rides with his family, and playing basketball and golf.
McKenzie Bono
McKenzie is a small-town girl who grew up in Rigby, ID. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Utah State University and plans on starting a Master of Accounting or Taxation degree once she finishes her undergraduate degree in Spring 2023. McKenzie currently is residing in Logan, Utah with her husband Jayce. She enjoys anything outdoors especially hiking, swimming, and camping. McKenzie is also a big fan of movie nights with lots of snacks.

Mark Hirschi
Mark has an Associate degree in Accounting and a Master of hard work. He lives in Tremonton and has been working for Golden Spike Financial Associates for over 33 years. Mark enjoys camping, sports and spending time with his family.
Evan Nelson
Evan joined Davis & Bott in 2021. He holds a master’s degree in public administration and has 10 years of experience in local government accounting and finance. He specializes in 401(k) plan administration. Evan is grateful to live in Brigham City with his wife and children. He enjoys sports, music, gardening, and spending time with family.
Susanah Brown
Susanah received her BS in accounting from Utah State University and will continue her education with a Master of Taxation at Weber State University. She lives in Park Valley and enjoys helping her husband Charley on the ranch in her free time. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and kayaking with her family. Other hobbies include sewing, reading, and cooking good food!
McKayla Miller
McKayla is from southern Arizona and is a senior studying accounting at Utah State. She hopes to get her master’s degree and become a CPA one day. When she's not at work or doing homework, she loves to play pickleball, tennis, and volleyball. She loves working with and helping people which is something that has drawn her to this field. She is excited to be a part of Davis & Bott and looks forward to all of the new things she will learn while she's here.
Kimberly Walton Ferguson
Kimberly is from Logan, Utah. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah State University and is in the Master of Accounting program at Utah State University. She lives in Hyrum with her husband, Dawson. Outside of work, she loves the outdoors, including backpacking and fishing. She also loves sports, music, and spending time with family.
Zach Dustin
Zach is an accounting student at Utah State University in his undergrad and is planning to get a masters degree in accounting and become a CPA. He is from Bountiful Utah and enjoys sports including soccer, pickleball, and running.
