David Ahlstrom

Dave receive his masters of accountancy and bachelor’s degrees from Weber State.  He has worked for Davis and Bott since 1986.

Dave specializes in individual and business income taxes, retirement plans, type of entity consulting, trusts, accounting and auditing.  Dave is currently involved in the community as a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, a soccer coach for AYSO and a chapter leader for the John Birch Society.  He enjoys spending time with his family, especially in the outdoors.


David Rogers

Masters of Accounting, BYU; BS of Finance, BYU; BA of Russian, BYU

David has worked for Davis & Bott since 2006. David specializes in audit and attestation work for business, government and non-profit entities. He also has the expertise to provide tax, consulting, tax planning and other compliance services both to those entities and to individuals. David enjoys being involved in the community, serving on boards as Treasurer for the Box Elder Family Support Center and the Brigham City Rotary Club. He has also been President of the Northern Chapter of the Utah Association of CPAs and is the Supervisory Committee Chairman for a local credit union. David enjoys spending time with his family, running, and cheering for the Dodgers and BYU.


Matthew Jensen


Matt has a Masters of Business Administration from USU.  He has been with us since 2007.  He has been active in the Kiwanis club for the last 4 years. Matt is a lifelong resident of Brigham City, is a sports fanatic and enjoys reading.


Cade Jones

Cade is a CPA who works with small businesses in Eastern Idaho as a virtual CFO. He helps business owners make sense of their growing enterprises by monitoring financial performance and analyzing financial data. Cade works with businesses of all sizes in the trucking, automotive repair, healthcare, and trades industries. He offers services such as bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, and financial report preparation. Cade has been with Davis & Bott since January 2016 and works for the firm in Rexburg, Idaho. He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Utah State University. Cade enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys woodworking, skeet shooting, and reading. 


William Pedersen

William grew up in northern Utah and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Utah State University; graduating Summa Cum Laude. He earned a Master of Taxation degree (MTax) from Weber State University with a 4.0 GPA and was a Goddard Scholar. William is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah. William specializes in business and individual taxation & accounting as well as retirement plan administration. William lives in Brigham City with his wife, Meagan, his son, Leo, and his two dogs, Mayzie and Obi. He enjoys being with his family, playing basketball, indoor soccer, and reading. 


Ted Jeppsen

Ted grew up in Mantua UT. He attended Utah State University where he graduated in 2017 with his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Accounting. Ted began working in public accounting in 2015, where he has focused his efforts in tax planning and preparation for a variety of clients and industries such as Medical, Real estate, Manufacturing, Construction, Photography, Farming, etc. In his spare time Ted enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and kids as well as being involved in his church and community, currently serving on the BESD Foundation board and as a youth leader in his church. Ted also loves to be as active as possible participating in  sports such as Pickle ball, Golf, Basketball, and Mountain biking and helping his Dad run their small farm in Mantua.


Tyson Hemphill

Tyson received his Masters of Accountancy from Idaho State University and BS degree in accounting from BYU-Idaho.  Tyson joined the Davis & Bott team in 2019.  Previously he worked in public accounting performing financial statement audits and tax returns for clients in the automotive, retail sales, and manufacturing industries.  Outside of work, Tyson enjoys being involved with his church and community.  He loves to play sports, watch a good movie with his wife, travel, and spend time with family.    



Mark Hirschi

Mark has an Associate degree in Accounting and a Master of hard work.  He lives in Tremonton and has been working for Golden Spike Financial Associates for over 33 years.  Mark enjoys camping, sports and spending time with his family.


Steven Barson

Steven was born and raised in Burley, Idaho, where in his early teens found his interest in accounting.  In 2019 he graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master's degrees from Utah State University.  He is currently studying to become a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified management accountant (CMA).  Before joining Davis & Bott, Steven worked as an auditor at the State Auditor's office in Salt Lake City and an accountant for local businesses like the Cache Valley Fun Park and Alpha Inception. He currently lives in Nibley with his wife, Alecia, and their son Jackson.  He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys hiking, volleyball, baseball, and hockey.


Kyler Andersen

Kyler grew up in Honeyville, UT and graduated from Box Elder High in the top 3% of the class. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah State University. After that, he will pursue a Master of Taxation degree (MTAX) from Weber State University and will then begin the testing process to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Before joining Davis & Bott, Kyler worked for America First Credit Union for 2 ½ years at the Brigham City branch. Kyler lives in Brigham City with his wife, Abby. He enjoys spending time with his family, shed hunting, and playing/watching sports.
